The Importance of Your Shooting Arc

Shooting with a high arc gives you a better chance to make your shot

Two basketballs can fit in the hoop at the same time.

It’s a tight fit, but if you put a rim on the ground you can see how two balls can fit in at the same time.

So…shooting with a high arc, the ball has more area to fall into the basket.  You’ll also have a better chance for friendly rolls with a high, soft arch.

The flatter the shot (with a low trajectory), the less area the ball has to go into the basket.
